Fencing-What’s Usually Overlooked
Protective Wood Coatings Designed for Sun and the Elements
What We Do ...
We apply protective wood coatings and finishes designed to withstand sun and rain, helping fences age gracefully and last longer. Our work focuses on the details most homeowners overlook—sealing, protecting, and finishing wood so your outdoor spaces feel cared for from the start.
Upgrades
When new fences are left untreated, repeated exposure to sun and rain causes the wood to expand and contract. Over time, this movement leads to warping, cracking, and splitting, especially in boards that receive direct sunlight or uneven moisture.
Once wood begins to warp, paint and stain no longer adhere evenly. Gaps form, fasteners loosen, and moisture penetrates deeper into the boards. At that point, simple maintenance is no longer enough sections often need to be replaced rather than preserved.
Homeowners who delay treatment frequently end up paying more in the long run: for board replacements, structural repairs, or full refinishing sooner than expected. Treating a fence early helps stabilize the wood, protect it from heat and rain, and extend its life before damage begins.
